The gap between a $399 certification and a $25,000 one isn’t random. Here’s what you’re paying for (or not):
Format. Online programs are cheaper. In-person retreats and residentials cost more because someone is paying for the venue, the food, and the staff. Hybrid programs (Wim Hof, Alchemy of Breath) split the difference.
Duration and depth. A 5-hour program teaches you a technique. A 2-year program transforms how you hold space. The longer the training, the more supervised practice, mentorship, and personal process work you get.
